Food and service are really great. Price-performance is really fair. The tables in the restaurant are always freshly set. In the warm season, there is a wonderful beer garden in the very quiet backyard. The only minus. For people with restricted mobility. There is a really steep and ugly staircase leading to the sanitary facilities, down to the basement.

Hello my rating is about the schnitzel. From my point of view, they are at canteen level (convienent) because I can also get some from Aldi and deep-fry them.

Super delicious quality food, large selection of dishes that are very well presented. The staff is really very friendly and tries very hard. You can recommend this restaurant 100%!

3 star deduction for the fact that there was a fee of 2 euros on our bill, titled "dishes diverse". When asked what that should be, we were told that it was for the hygiene products. However, we have not received any hygiene products at all !! I just find it very brazen not to tell the customer about it beforehand and then cash in afterwards. We used to eat at Porta Romana before because the food tasted quite good. But now we won't go to the restaurant anymore! If you have to pull 2 ​​€ out of your guests' pocket, I don't want to support that. After all, we supported the restaurant by having dinner despite Corona. The goodwill was there, unfortunately it was exploited. PS: for a small side salad to charge 5 euros is also outrageous!

I had the tortellini Porta Romana. They were pretty good. With fresh mushrooms instead of canned mushrooms I would have liked it better. As a desert, unfortunately, there was only Schöller ice cream with Sprühsane. Something homemade like tiramisu or panacotta I would have liked. Conclusion. Really good food at fair prices and friendly service, but still room for improvement.
